27th Annual Newmarket Voice Festival SyllabusDonate/SponsorThe Newmarket Voice Festival needs your help! As we celebrate our 27th year, the Newmarket Voice Festival (NVF) is proud to continue to host this annual community event and to offer a music festival experience to talented local singers and actors of all ages.Engagement in the arts builds skills and confidence, fosters a sense of personal achievement, and develops a cultural appreciation that can last a lifetime. Our goal is to provide each participant with a positive and impactful experience, and an opportunity for personal and artistic growth. The NVF offers a wide variety of categories: Classical Voice, Musical Theatre, Popular Voice, Songs From The Screen And More, and Speech Arts and Drama. We engage professional adjudicators who educate, motivate, encourage and inspire our participants through written and verbal feedback, and masterclasses. As a member festival of the OMFA (Ontario Music Festival Association), three performers in each category and age level are eligible to advance to the Provincial Competition held in June and to represent the NVF. Access to funding for community music festivals is extremely limited and the costs of running this event increase each year. The NVF seeks sponsors and donors to assist with the financial challenges we face. Your donation can do so much to help us cover our growing operating costs and to create scholarships and awards for deserving young performers. Your financial support will really make a difference to ensure that this event can continue. The Newmarket Voice Festival welcomes donations and scholarships from local businesses and private individuals who share our commitment to encouraging young and local talent. As a registered charity, the NVF issues tax receipts for all donations of $20 or more. Our Charitable Registration No. is 87430 6699 RR0001 For further information, please call Director Irene Ilic (905) 830-6932. Our festival is run entirely by dedicated volunteers, including our Director and Festival Committee. We hope that you join us in sharing our passion for supporting our local talent and keeping the arts alive in our community! THANK YOU for helping keep the Newmarket Voice Festival alive!
